The mobile app's row of recent DM avatars at the top of the screen is visually cluttered and intrusive. It serves no real purpose and lacks an option to hide or remove it. In professional settings, privacy and discretion are important, and not everyone wants their recent conversations displayed prominently. A simple toggle to disable the avatar strip would enhance user experience, allowing us to focus on productivity without unnecessary distractions.
